Projects/E-Commerce/A New Visual Identity for Stella Luna eCommerce Website
In this case study, you can discover how we helped Stella Luna build a new online identity via the revamp of its eCommerce website with Magento and Drupal.
Stella Luna (SL) is a premium Asian shoe brand with over 200 stores worldwide, renowned for blending exceptional quality with modern fashion in every design.
The brand’s mission is to empower women everywhere, ensuring each step taken in Stella Luna shoes reflects confidence and style.
Since its founding in 2006, Stella Luna has aspired to be recognized as a leading force in the global fashion industry. To accelerate this journey, the brand set out to launch a bold branding initiative—one that is both trendy and timeless.
More than just a digital agency, Stella Luna sought a reliable partner willing to go above and beyond. This shared vision marked the beginning of a successful collaboration between IT Consultis (ITC) and Stella Luna.
Stella Luna’s primary goal was to establish a compelling new online brand identity through the launch of an attractive and engaging eCommerce store.
First, we developed an online store with dual hosting in both France and China, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility for Stella Luna’s key markets.

To support the launch, we crafted a comprehensive new visual identity, introducing fresh fonts, colors, icons, and interactive elements for the website.
This new identity became the foundation for redesigning all in-store assets, allowing Stella Luna to maintain brand consistency and unify its online and offline presence.

Recognizing Stella Luna’s focus on lifestyle and trendiness, we empowered the brand with tools to easily promote new content — without the need for additional webmasters or agency support.
We achieved this by creating magazine-style editorial templates, enabling the team to mix and match layouts effortlessly.

Finally, we ensured the website was fully responsive, but went a step further by designing a near mobile app-like experience specifically for smaller screens.
This mobile-friendly approach guarantees a seamless and engaging user experience, no matter how or where customers access the store.
From a technology standpoint, we leveraged both Magento and Drupal, allowing the Stella Luna team to benefit from the strengths of each platform.
This integration enables seamless management of both products and content, bringing the brand closer to achieving its desired image and goals.

To enhance the user experience, we focused on reducing page load times while maintaining high-resolution images and detailed product zooms, ensuring an optimized user journey to drive sales growth.
Key features implemented include a quick add-to-cart button and a streamlined one-step checkout process, allowing customers to complete purchases without the need to create or log into an account. This simplified path to conversion removes unnecessary barriers and encourages more sales.

To ensure valuable customer data is not lost due to the removal of mandatory account registration, the system automatically creates an account when users enter their billing or shipping information.
All collected data is seamlessly integrated into Stella Luna’s ERP and WMS systems, supporting efficient operations and customer management.
Muriel Boudon Dragan, the General Manager of Stella Luna, also left a comment on our project:
“The relationship between a brand and their web agency is unique. Unlike other suppliers that support a business, web agencies are looked at as strategic partners, where both parties work closely together and are incentivized, based on mutually agreed upon business objectives.
I was lucky to be referred to IT Consultis when I was looking for the right agency to revamp Stella Luna’s website.”
We successfully delivered a revitalized eCommerce website for Stella Luna, featuring a fresh visual identity, improved performance, and seamless ERP and WMS integration, powered by Magento and Drupal back-ends. As a result, the brand was able to:
